The Name

Ah, the name. :)

The concept comes from a 16th century proverb:

 "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear."

In other words, you can't make a good quality product of out poor quality materials.

It needs a little spicing up right?

 I agree.

So I made the business into a project.

Basically, my goal is to find and RE-USE good quality materials that have unfortunately been kicked to the curb in order to create brand-spankin' new A.Mazing quality products.

...with a bit of vintage or retro flair.

Now the "Piglet" portion of the name is kinda mushy, so if you gag easily, you should probably click back right about now.

 Long story short, I'm a big fan of my family.

Like a paint my face, don a burlap sack and yell "FREEDOM!" to defend their honor Braveheart-style  kind of fan. 

Anywho, when I was growing up, my parents briefly had an amazing small craft business called "The Silken Pig" - the "Piglet" portion of the name is my dedication to them.
